The Four annual events for the Women’s Hood organization, 2025.
Women’s Empowerment Summit.
Every once in a year, we host powerful long day Summit where women from all walks of life come together to learn, connect and grow. The day is filled with inspiring speakers and honest conversations about everything from leadership and wellness to starting a business or find balance in everyday life. For this year’s event it is set to be around mid October to early November, actually dates are yet to be confirmed.
Mentorship Launch
 This is an annual celebration to kick of the new mentorship year. It is usually held at the beginning of every year. It is an evening of connection and encouragement to each other, where we share each others growth and help to encourage those who are yet to grow. It is basically a feel good night that is full of purpose and promise. This event will be held on the 21 of November 2025, on the local community hall at 6pm.
We also have a site She Builds Event:
This is a community impact day held every year were we roll up our sleeves and give back to our communities. Whether it’s cleaning at a local community park, hosting a skills workshop for young women, or helping out at a shelter, this day is all about showing up, and standing together, and making a difference. This year’s event was in April, where the cleaning of a local park took place.
Her Voice Storytelling Night.
This evening is one of the most heartfelt events if the year. Women from our community take the stage to share their stories, whether it struggles, their way to success or their day to day technique in improving their lives and making a difference. This event will be held on the 31st of August 2025. Time and venue will be communicated.

Successful Stories of our organization

Breaking Barriers  Women Leaders In our leadership programs, Nosihle found her voice and became a powerful advocate for women’s rights in her community.  Now,  she leads a local women’s coalition that fights for gender equality and access to resources. Her journey from shy participant to passionate leader shows the impact of mentorship and community-building.("Nosihle Biyase,an aspiring community leader.") In empowering Women with knowledge.  Meet Nokuthula,  a woman  who joined our leadership training program two years ago. Today,  she runs a successful vegetable farm where she is able to  plant and grow food from her own farm  and sell it  I'm her neighborhood and surrounding communities.  ("Nokuthula Mdletshe, founder of a thriving vegetable farm empowered by the Women’s Hood Project .")

WOMEN’S HOOD PROJECT ACHIEVES HUGE MILESTONE IN EMPOWERING WOMEN IN THE SOCIETY.  Date: 8 March 2025 We,  at the Women’s Hood Project are excited to share some incredible achievements from the past year. We've hit new heights in empowering Women in our society, providing them with the tools and network they need to succeed. Over hundred(100) Women have completed our leadership and professional development programs, and we're seeing them make am impact in their careers, businesses and their families. Our efforts have led to: More then Hundred(100) women completing our programs,  gaining leadership skills, education mentorship.  A 20% increase in women-led starts up in most areas where we're active, with women starting their own businesses and hiring others.
